Students can apply to UNC Asheville for free during College Application Week Oct 17-21

Press release from the University of North Carolina at Asheville:

UNC Asheville joins the North Carolina College Foundation for the Countdown to College for the third consecutive year. During College Application Week, October 17-21, 2022, application fees for North Carolina residents, including transfer students, are waived.

The application fee for UNC Asheville typically costs $75.

Students may choose to apply for Early Action or Regular Decision. The deadlines for Early Action are November 15 and January 15. The Regular Decision application deadline is February 1, though a student may submit their application at any time before that date. Transfer students are encouraged to apply by November 15 for spring 2023 or June 15 for fall 2023. Start your application at unca.edu/apply/.

In addition to College Application Week, UNC Asheville will host an Open House on Saturday, October 22.

While our Open House date is full with a waitlist, we encourage prospective students to sign-up for one of our daily tours and information sessions. Register at unca.edu/admission/visit/open-house-tours/.

UNC Asheville Admission and Financial Aid Counselors are also available during business hours to answer student questions. Connect online at unca.edu/admission/meet-your-counselor/, or via Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.
