They’ll be lucky to find enough people to bus in for the cameras. According to Politico (which has reporters following both campaigns), Tea Party extremist and virtual ward-of-the state Paul Ryan has been referring to Romney as “The Stench.”

Tagg has to work his way up the golden ladder; sure, $5,000 per person may be no great shakes, but that’s how the plutocracy earns those 50K per plate gigs like daddy Mitt. It’s hard work keeping the most self-entitled class on the planet fired up.

This gets better every day. In a textbook example of much admired Republican cohesiveness, Camp Romney reciprocally bestowed the affectionate nickname of ‘Gilligan’ onto Mr. Ryan. Why?

“Campaign headquarters apparently feels that the man brought on to the ticket for his alleged deftness in navigating complicated snarls of budget and policy numbers is turning out to be an intellectual flyweight.”

And in a rare moment of candor and honesty, Romney acknowledged that Obama had not raised taxes during his first four years (“but he’s going to…”). One can see Paul Ryan’s face change when those words came out of Romney’s mouth. It looked as if Romney had broken wind right in front of him.

As much as Obama has let people down on some of his campaign promises, this is just too much fun not to savor. Geez, a just-released poll showed Obama ahead by several points among “NASCAR enthusiasts.”
