Tea for Tyrants seeks indie musicians

Tea company and artist collective Tea For Tyrants is embarking on a mission to pair music with tea brands. Following a successful Kickstarter campaign, the company launched its initial five teas and is now looking for independent musicians whose work will partner nicely with future teas. Read the press release, below:

“New tea company Tea for Tyrants is seeking independent music to add to our catalog and pair with our tea brands. We are specifically after music in the following genres: indie folk, mellow indie rock, dream pop, world music, rootsy pop rock and select Americana.

“We believe listening to music should be an experience – more than a simple download. We give our customers that experience in the digital age by distributing original music through high-quality, loose leaf teas. Tea for Tyrants promotes the work of independent, lesser known artists by giving them an alternative vehicle to reach new fans.

“If you are interested in submitting music for consideration please reply through our contact form here:http://www.teafortyrants.com/pages/contact-us-1. Include a link to sample your tunes and a brief bio about yourself and/or band.

“We have a very selective process but consider all submissions. Due to our small team and limited resources we can’t give individual feedback. We will contact you if we are interested.”
