Temporary driver license office to open in Marshall, April 30

Press release from North Carolina Department of Transportation:

The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles will open a temporary driver license office in the Madison County town of Marshall on Tuesday until a permanent location can be determined.

The modular office, which will be located at 107 Elizabeth Lane behind the Madison county manager’s office building, will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 8:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.  It replaces the previous driver license office on North Main Street in Marshall, which closed on March 27.

Customers may contact the DMV Call Center at 919-715-7000 to confirm appointments and operating hours.

DMV also offers driver license and REAL ID renewals, as well as many other services online. Customers are encouraged to check the official DMV website at MyNCDMV.gov to see if their driver license needs can be met online.
