The Art House Gallery & Studio opens in East Flat Rock

The Art House Gallery & Studio announces a new concert series opening Saturday, August 9 with country/blues/Americana artists Carver & Carmody on vocals and guitars.  The Art House will be open 8:00 PM – midnight, with music from 9:00-11:00.  No cover charge.

The elegantly decorated venue features art by regional artists and serves beer, wine, soft drinks along with a late-night menu of appetizers.  Concerts will be every Saturday night, with plans to add an additional open mic night in the near future.

Upcoming shows:
• August 16 – Wendy Hayes & Michael Jefry Stevens – jazz vocals and piano
• August 23 – The Bluesy Duo (Garry Segal and Michael Filappone) – acoustic blues
• August 30 – Ellen Trnka Trio (with Howie Johnson and Craig Woody) – acoustic/electric blues guitar and harmonica

The Art House is looking forward to an exciting lineup of local and regional artists in coming months.  The venue includes 3,000 feet of gallery/performance space, studios, a deck and a cozy couch lounge.

The Art House is located 5 Highland Park Road, East Flat Rock, NC.
