The Midnight Plowboys takes hot picking to the Tryon Fine Arts Center June 3

The Midnight Plowboys are a traditional roots music string band and one of the top bluegrass bands in Western Northern Carolina. They’re known for their diverse musical style, which includes elements of fiddle, bluegrass, Americana, folk, and classic early country. The Asheville-based band makes their Tryon debut to benefit the Pacolet Junior Appalachian Musician (PacJAM) program.

Tryon Fine Arts Center’s PacJAM program preserves traditional music through lessons for children and adults and public performances. Admission to the concert is $14 for adults and $8 for students. Tryon Fine Arts Center is a nonprofit organization that operates and programs a 315 seat performance venue and 150 seat amphitheater for music, opera, theatre, dance, and lectures on Melrose Avenue in Tryon, North Carolina.  In addition to presenting programming for a wide variety of audiences, TFAC also makes the arts accessible to local students through education and outreach programs. More information about Tryon Fine Arts Center programs is available online at www.tryonarts.org or by calling 828-859-8322.
