The Mills River Farmers’ Market invites you to come see us this Saturday, July 28, for our Summerfest. We are celebrating all things summer as well as our 10th year of operation. Vendors will be offering samples and other specials. Want to learn how to make Tomato Chips? Visit our mobile demo kitchen and learn how from Renay Knapp from Henderson County Cooperative Extension Service. Music will be provided by Outside Dog, a bluegrass band. There will be honey bee hives on display and the kids craft this week will focus on honey bees. This weekend will be special so why not spend it with the market?
Mills River Farmers Market is a 501c3 agency operating at the Mills River Elementary School, 94 Schoolhouse Rd., Mills River. Hours are from 8:00 AM until 12:00 noon each Saturday, May through October. The market accepts SNAP/EBT and offers matching dollars for these customers.
