The Town of Mills River to hear funding requests from area nonprofits

Press release from The Town of Mills River:

The Town’s annual budget development process kicks off with requests from area nonprofits.

Do you operate a 501(c)(3) serving the residents of Mills River? Do you have a program you would like to expand? If funding is a challenge you may consider requesting support from the Town of Mills River.

Each year the Town Council hears requests from local nonprofits for the purpose of promoting partnerships between the Town and general nonprofit organizations for the benefit of Mills River residents and to strengthen community organizations. Past recipients include the Mills River Farm Market and Smart Start Partnership for Children.

Next week, March 11, 2021 at 6:30 PM Town Council is meeting to hear these requests. Please plan to attend this meeting if your organization is interested in partnering with the Town. Due to social distancing requirements seating is limited, however, you may also participate online by visiting www.millsriver.org/electronicmeetings.

Questions may be directed to Daniel Cobb at Daniel.cobb@millsriver.org.
