Super Science Saturdays at The Health Adventure in November

Asheville, N.C. (November 2, 2012) – On Saturday, November 3rd, get your thinking caps on for an afternoon of math puzzles, games and problem solving during Table Top Math at The Health Adventure! The whole family can work together to explore the fun side of math!

On Saturday, November 10th, fire up your neurons at The Health Adventure for a special Brain Day. Learn about the anatomy of the brain, how your five senses are connected, test your memory, perception and more!

Come meet all of The Health Adventure’s critters on Saturday, November 17th, at All About Animals. Get up close and personal with snakes, geckos and insects! Learn about their anatomy, habitats and more.

On Saturday, November 24, join us for Thanksgiving Extravaganza. Does a pumpkin float or sink in water? Join The Health Adventure for an afternoon of pumpkin math, guessing games and pumpkin seed tastings. Participate in the Mayflower boat float and construct a cranberry and popcorn wreath to take home.

Table Top Math, Brain Day, All About Animals and Thanksgiving Extravaganza are part of Super Science Saturdays. Featuring hands-on activities led by our museum facilitators, these programs are sure to be fun for all ages! Super Science Saturdays are held every Saturday from 12-2 p.m. and are free with museum admission or membership. Admission is $9.50 for adults and $6.50 for children ages 2 through 16.

The Health Adventure is located in the Biltmore Square Mall off of I-26 at Exit 33. Providing our community with science and health education for over 44 years, The Health Adventure is an accredited museum and is a non-profit 501(c)(3). The Health Adventure is a proud partner of Park Ridge Health. Open Monday through Saturday from 10 am until 8 pm and on Sundays from 12:30-6 pm.
