The Shilohs play Jack of the Wood on Sept. 7

“The Shilohs are bringing their penchant for love-struck jangle pop on the road to the Eastern US in support of their recent Light Organ Records debut, ‘So Wild,'” says a press release. The Vancouver, BC, Canada-based indie-rockers is “armed with a powerful duo of songwriters, the album unashamedly borrows from nearly four decades of the best; whether it’s The Byrds or Teenage Fanclub,” according to their bio.

They play Jack of the Wood Saturday, Sept. 7 with Free Time. 9 p.m., $7.
