Tickets running out for “farm to fork” dinner to benefit Bread of Life

BREVARD, NC (February 4, 2014) – A few tickets remain for the Saturday, February 15th “farm to fork” dinner being held by Wild Indigo Catering at the Haen Gallery Brevard. Featuring local, organic, seasonal food, the seven course themed dinner is entitled “Allure of the Aphrodisiac” and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Bread of Life, Transylvania County’s community soup kitchen.

Romance-inspired culinary creations by Brevard chefs Anne Somich, Kate Renner, and Neal Mitchell will include such local delights as Cherryfield Farm leg of lamb with rosemary salt and pomegranate port reduction, BusyBee Farm beef tenderloin with Brown Bean Coffee, and East Fork Farm quail egg ravioli. Other menu items will feature local honey, chocolate, champagne, edible flowers, strawberries, avocados, and more.

The perfect dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day weekend, the event will be held at the Haen Gallery Brevard in the Brevard Lumberyard Arts District from 5:30pm to 9:30pm. Guests can expect the ultimate experience of the gastronomical and visual arts intermixed with art, live music, and surprise entertainment.

Tickets are $75 each and a portion from each ticket sale will be donated to Bread of Life. Nonalcoholic beverages will be served at the dinner, but guests may BYOB.
