Times-News: NC House budget proposal would continue funding Rural Center

While the Senate aims to scrap the N.C. Rural Center and reorganize it under a new umbrella, the House version of the state’s spending plan, passed Thursday afternoon, keeps it the way it is and offers even more money to the agency in fiscal year 2014-15.
