ASHEVILLE — Park Ridge Health at Biltmore Park represents innovation in the way health care will be delivered to the Asheville area, Park Ridge Health officials said Tuesday during a groundbreaking ceremony for the new facility.

Park Ridge Health executives, physicians and staffers grasped shovels bearing the facility’s logo and pushed them into the ground, marking the first step toward construction of the $10 million four-story, 25,000-square-foot building off Interstate 26 on Long Shoals Road in south Asheville across from the entrance to Biltmore Park.
