Join Tracey Morgan Gallery for an artist talk with gallery artist Jade Doskow at 2PM on Saturday, June 2nd. The opening of her first exhibition with the gallery, Lost Utopias, will open on Friday, June 1st, with her artist talk the following afternoon.
Lost Utopias is the New York-based artist’s decade-long photographic series documenting the remaining architecture of international World’s Fairs. Doskow began photographing the remaining art, architecture, and landscape of World’s Fairs after traveling to Spain, the idea sparked by the surreal, half-abandoned postmodern remains of the 1992 World Expo in Seville.
