Tryon Riding & Hunt Club announce annual dog show and horse trials for October

85th Any & All Dog Show

October 7th

12:30pm at Harmon Field

Every dog has it’s day at everyone’s favorite dog show! With $1 classes including Best Tail Wagger, Best Costume, Best Trick, and of course, the Dog That Would Rather Be at Home. All proceeds will be donated to local organizations – in the last two years we have donated over $10,000 to the Foothills Humane Society and the Polk County K-9 officer.

Pole County Sheriff’s Department Officers Jared McFall and Rento will demonstrate Rento’s skills in suspect apprehension and vehicle searching.There will also be a demonstration by a search and rescue team!

Food and beverage vendors will be on site. There will also be plenty of children’s games set up to provide hours of fun and entertainment!

43rd Tryon Riding & Hunt Club Horse Trials

October 19-21

Competition begins at 8am on the 20th at FENCE

Come compete or cheer on the horses and riders competing in the Horse Trials as they show off their diverse skills in cross country, dressage, and show jumping! Levels from Starter through Preliminary will be offered. We will also offer the College Team Challenge.
