Turner releases first campaign ad, ‘Blame’

Press release from the Brian Turner campaign:

House District 116 candidate Brian Turner released his first campaign ad today, “Blame,” which criticizes his opponent Rep. Tim Moffitt’s recent efforts to deflect responsibility for his voting record in Raleigh.

In the ad, Turner criticizes his opponent’s TV ad that blames others for North Carolina’s economic difficulties.

Turner goes on to call out Moffitt for voting to cut $500 million from education, voting to increase taxes on small business and working families, and voting to fast-track fracking.

“Public servants take responsibility for their votes; politicians, like Rep. Tim Moffitt, try to hide from them,” Turner said.

The ad is the campaign’s first in what is shaping up to be one of the most competitive House races in North Carolina.
