About Two Sisters Farmstead School

Two Sisters Farmstead School exists to foster experiences that unearth the connections between people, food, and nature. We aim to create a village of lifelong learners who possess the skills of sustainability and appreciate the intrinsic value of the Earth.

The Farmstead offers summer camps, a half-day pre-K program, science classes for homeschoolers, large group tours and lessons, scouting merit badges and drop-in childcare. The organization sets itself apart by focusing on the importance of natural science concepts to students of all ages. The rigorous course of study teaches scientific reasoning skills and an understanding of earth and environmental science using age-appropriate methodology. The Farmstead fills several vital community needs: connecting youth with their environment, promoting healthy eating skills, teaching scientific reasoning and increasing the amount of time that people spend outside. Programming begins on June 20, 2016 with the inception of Camp Farmstead. Fall classes for the Sprouts pre-K program and Explorers homeschoolers program begins September 12, 2016.
