UNC Asheville’s Human Resources welcomed Nicole Norian as the department’s new director on June 14.
Norian brings more than 25 years of senior human resources experience in both public and private higher education, as well as county government settings. She most recently served as director of human resources and affirmative action officer at Nevada State College.
Norian is nationally certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources and has served on the board of the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources at the regional and national levels.
She holds a Master of Science in counseling and personnel services from Drake University, and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from Iowa State University.
