UNCA will host New Media 11th annual student exhibition on Friday

From the press release:

The 11th Annual New Media Student Show, a juried exhibition featuring innovative work by UNC Asheville students, will open with a reception from 3-6 p.m. Friday, April 6, in UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union Gallery. The reception and exhibition are free and open to the public.

The exhibition will feature 2D and 3D animation art, interactive art and design, video art, stop motion, sonic art, installation, and digital prints from UNC Asheville students. The student work makes use of state-of-the-art technology to express ideas in communication, storytelling, information technology, science, architecture, literature and music.

Meaney has been an Iowa Arts fellow, an artist in residence at the Experimental Television Center, and is a founding member of the GLI.TC/H glitch art project.
