Universal Joint to host fundraiser for French Broad Riverkeeper, Asheville on Bikes

Press Release

From Western North Carolina Alliance:

ASHEVILLE—The Universal Joint is hosting a fundraiser on May 24 that will allow folks to enjoy a cold brew while also helping to clean up the river and expand biking options for the community.

All beer proceeds from 11 a.m.-5 p.m. will benefit the French Broad Riverkeeper, a program of the Western North Carolina Alliance, and Asheville on Bikes.

The UJoint is located at 784 Haywood Road in West Asheville.

The French Broad Riverkeeper is working to protect and defend the water quality of the French Broad River, and all the money raised on May 24 will go toward continuing the fight to clean up Duke Energy’s coal ash pollution.

Asheville on Bikes cultivates the culture of commuting and urban cycling within our city through celebration and advocacy.

Join the UJoint, the French Broad Riverkeeper, and Asheville on Bikes to celebrate and help further the mission of these great organizations.
