Van tour of historic barns, Oct. 19

Press release from Appalachian Barn Alliance:

Beautiful fall colors will highlight the barns in the rural landscape. If you missed your chance to take a tour of historic barns in the Madison County area this summer, be sure to catch the last scheduled tour of 2018.  The popular Appalachian Barn Alliance 12-passenger van tour for October is scheduled for Friday, October 19.

Treat yourself and some friends and family to a closeup view of several barns in the Mars Hill area of Madison County as well as many stories about these and other barns that you will drive by.  These “Fabulous! and Wonderfully narrated” monthly-scheduled van tours with our tour guide—Taylor Barnhill– are slower-paced and spread over 3 hours to allow you to see the barns in a more intimate way.

The Friday, October 19 tour will begin at 9am and end at approximately Noon in the Ingles’ parking lot in Mars Hill (and, yes, there will be a bathroom stop in the middle). The cost is $40 per person. To reserve your spot, email info@appalachianbarns.org or call Sandy at 828 380-9146.
