Vegan Diet for Personal and Planetary Health

On Tuesday, Oct. 22, Jubilee! Church hosts a panel forum and documentary filming on “The Vegan Diet for Personal and Planetary Health.” The event takes place at 46 Wall St., Asheville. 7-9 p.m., $5 suggested donation or free for students with I.D.

What invaluable health and ecological benefits does the vegan diet promote? Join the audience at this exciting panel discussion, led by noted Asheville vegan and plant-based diet proponents including authors, Martha C. Cottrell, M.D. and UNCA’s Amy Lanou, Ph.D., Ron Parks, M.D., organic activist Debi Athos, Lino and Jane Stanchich, nutritionists and authors. Also, hear Marcia Reisman, an animal rights activist, Joe Walsh, dedicated vegan meet-up organizer, John Sinnott and Bob LeRoy, vegan activists. The forum will be filmed as a documentary by R. Roland, “The Video Guy.”
