Warren Wilson College debuts new lecture series on impact of meaningful work

Press release from Warren Wilson College:

We hope you will join us for the inaugural Ian Robertson Distinguished Lecture in Inspired Work. Made possible by the support of many generous donors, the lecture series was created to honor the legacy of WWC Dean of Work Emeritus Ian Robertson and spark conversation about the relevance and impact of meaningful work.

At this event, Robertson will introduce our first lecturer in the series, Dr. Elizabeth O. Colton. Dr. Colton is a native of Asheville, an Emmy-award winning journalist, a former diplomat, and professor whose illustrious career has taken her on adventures all over the world. She currently serves as the WWC Diplomat and Journalist in Residence, lending her expertise as a mentor and teacher to our students.

In her lecture “Mountains to Maldives: Leading a Life of Adventure Through Work,” Dr. Colton will discuss how her varied life experiences have informed her own inspired work.
