Wedge Brewing Company participates in French Broad Riverkeeper Beer Series

Press release from Wedge Brewing Company:

Wedge Brewing Company is proud to partner with MountainTrue’s French Broad Riverkeeper as its August Charity of the month. Additionally, Wedge is partnering with the Riverkeeper as part of the Beer Series River Clean-Up and hosting the first annual River Rager After Party on August 24, 2019 at its Foundation location.

“Over the years I’ve seen the work Hartwell Carson (French Broad Riverkeeper) has done to help improve the French Broad River and its feeder streams,” says Tim Schaller, managing partner of Wedge. “Wedge is proud to be able to partner with the French Broad Riverkeeper and our friends at MountainTrue to offer our support through fundraising, exposure, and getting dirty helping with clean ups. We appreciate all the great work they are doing.”

Through its Charity of the Month program, during August, Wedge will be donating $1 per each Riverkeeper India Blonde Ale sold to MountainTrue’s French Broad Riverkeeper. Additionally, on Saturday, August 24, 2019, Wedge will be hosting the third installment of the Riverkeeper Beer Series where volunteers float down a section of local flatwater collecting trash.
