West Asheville businesses use collaborative discounts to encourage local holiday shopping, Dec. 13

Nearly two dozen West Asheville businesses have collaborated with OnHaywood.com and the West Asheville Business Association to promote holiday shopping in the area on Saturday, Dec. 13. Each business has chosen a promotion to run the whole day or for several hours on Saturday. The event wraps up with a party at Urban Orchard Cider Co.

Participants include Jenny Threads, Sunny Point CafĂ©, Essential Journeys Soaps, King Daddy’s Chicken and Waffle, West End Bakery, Rhetorical Factory, The Barleycorn, Asheville Bookworks, Center for Holistic Medicine, Westville Pub, Pour Taproom, Urban Orchard Cider Co., The Mothlight, Secondgear, Whist, Get It Kitten, Short Street Cakes and West Village Market & Bakery.

We are assisting the West Asheville Business Association (WABA) to promote shopping in West Asheville this holiday season, with special focus on Saturday, December 6th and Saturday, December 13th. There will be a fun Wrap Party on the evening of the 13th at Urban Orchard where winners of the Holiday Window Decorating Contest will be announced and all who attend are entered for raffle prizes.
