Wildflower walk: Blue Ridge Parkway hike of the week

Press release from National Parks Service

Asheville, NC –  Join Parkway rangers at 10:00 am on Friday, July 1st for a moderate 2-mile round-trip hike on the Mountains-to-Sea Trail.  We’ll look for blooming wildflowers and see if any of the cacti are producing “tunas”.

Meet at the Craven Gap parking area at Milepost 377.4.  Bring water, wear good walking shoes, and be prepared for changing weather.
