William Matthews Poetry Prize winners read at Malaprop’s

Beck Gibson Gould, Catherine Carter and Angela Kelly, all winners of the William Matthews Poetry Prize for 2012, will be honored in an advent at Malaprop’s on Friday, June 29. The 7 p.m. Asheville Poetry Review reading will be hosted by Keith Flynn. According to a press release, “The three winners were selected from an international pool of finalists by the esteemed poet David Wagoner in a blind judging process. Join us for this reading featuring Becky Gould Gibson (first prize), Catherine Carter (second prize), and Angela Kelly (third prize).”

Books by the readers and copies of Asheville Poetry Review will be available for purchase at the event.
