Wizard games at the Smith-McDowell House, Sept. 15

Calling all Wizards!!

Old Buck’s Wizard School (also known as Smith-McDowell House) is hosting the 2018 Wizard Games on September 15 at 10:30 am on the lawn of the Wizard School. Compete in a variety of games and activities, including Wand Practice, Quiddich drills, Magic Ball Catch and more. Houses will compete for points at each activity. A bottle of Aquavena Cooling Potion will keep you hydrated until the light refreshments are served and winning House announced.

Casual wizard dress so you can run and jump. Bring your own wand or borrow one of ours (they are charmed to obey any wizard.)  Wizard parents are welcome to watch and cheer on their favorite wizard competitor.

Cost is $10 per competing wizards.

A project of the Western North Carolina Historical Association, The Smith-McDowell House is a restored period house and history museum located at 283 Victoria Road on the campus of Asheville-Buncombe Technical Community College.  Hours of operation are Wednesday through Saturday 10:00am to 4:00pm and Sunday 12:00pm to 4:00pm.
