Woody Harrelson Challenge

PRESS RELEASE:

Balsam Mountain Junior Roller Derby has issued a challenge to Woody Harrelson. The actor is currently on the set in Sylva filming the movie “Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri.”  One of our team members mentioned she would like to meet Woody and that the team should issue him a challenge to come skate so that is exactly what we did.  Following is the challenge that has already been posted on Facebook and shared:

ATTENTION WOODY HARRELSON-

We’ve seen you bowl like a pro in “Kingpin.” We’ve seen you slam dunk with the best in “White Men Can’t Jump.” We’ve seen you get down and dirty in “The Hunger Games.” We’ve even seen you dominate the game of chess in “Pritchard Park.” Now it’s time to ask – can you skate better than a junior derby skater? It’s time to prove how tough you really are!

Balsam Mountain Junior Roller Derby would like to CHALLENGE YOU to come roll with our junior skaters Friday Night, May 20th (the date can be adjusted per your schedule) at Smoky Mountain Sk8way, the areas largest roller skating rink. We are located in Waynesville, right down the road from where you are filming. We have skates, elbow pads, knee pads and even a helmet you can borrow if you think you’ll need it! wink emoticon

You can reach our team to ACCEPT this challenge at
(828)246-9124. We hope to see you there!
