Wortham Center offers performing arts scholarships to graduating Buncombe seniors

Press release from the Wortham Center for the Performing Arts:

Do you have a child, grandchild or student who is passionate about performing?

The Wortham Center for the Performing Arts is proud to support young performers by providing scholarships for graduating high school seniors pursuing a career in the performing arts through the Y.E.S. (Youth Education Scholarship) Emerging Artists Fund.

A limited number of scholarships beginning at $1,000 each will be awarded to finalists. Scholarship recipients will also be featured in pre-recorded video performances during a Wortham Center virtual event on May 7.

Any interested high school senior in Buncombe County should apply by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2. Please share with the young performers in your life. Learn more here.
