Xplore USA needs host families for Asheville program for teens from Spain, Italy, Germany and France

European students vist Asheville Local organization Xplore USA welcomes 13- to 17 –year-old students from Spain, Italy, Germany and France to Asheville this summer (in two separate three-week stays) to experience life with an American family. You can get involved and become a host.

The daily programs keep the students busy with English classes, field trips and volunteer service projects. All costs for student programming are fully covered. Volunteer host families provide room and board and a loving environment, plus transportation to the day-camp location and carpool meetup. Host siblings, 10 years and older, are invited to participate in all day-camp activities.

There is an opportunity to learn more in person by meeting the Xplore staff and past host families: Tuesday, April 16, 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., at Rainbow Mountain Childrens’ School in West Asheville, 574 Haywood Road.
