Bilingual Home Visitor - Early Intervention Specialist
$16.46 - $20.58 / Hour

This position educates and coaches ten - twelve families in the areas of parenting, health, nutrition, and child development through weekly 90-minute home visits to assist parents/guardians in becoming more effective educators of their children. The focus is in supporting families who have children with behavioral needs through regular collaboration with the Early Intervention Team including in-house Behavior Interventionists.


Baccalaureate degree in Child Development, Birth-Kindergarten, Special Education, Early Childhood Education, Recreational Therapy or a directly related field with Early Childhood education/experience. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish). Degree(s) must be from an accredited college recognized by the NC Department of Child Development and Early Education.


Prefer two years of infant/toddler and/or preschool teaching and/or home visiting experience. Early Head Start/Head Start experience preferred.
