With his first solo EP now out, Isaiah Breedlove is hoping to make a splash on the local music scene. The four song EP is called All Around Your Sleepy Head and is available now on Bandcamp.
Breedlove recently gave an exclusive performance with Alma Russ for Xpress and Acoustic Asheville. Russ played fiddle in the appearance at The Grey Eagle, but is quickly gaining notice for her multi-instrumentalist skills.
You can catch Breedlove playing with his brother Jon as The Breedlove Brothers at Greening Up The Mountains in Sylva on Saturday, April 28. In the meantime, you can find Russ at The Cut Cocktail Lounge in Sylva today, Saturday, April 7, at 3 p.m.
The four songs the duo played include three originals written by Breedlove and a cover The Wallflowers’ “One Headlight.”
