Video release: “Saluda Grade” by Eric Congdon

Eric Congdon

“The video is a study in contrasts,” says local guitarist Eric Congdon of “Saluda Grade,” the latest in his Hiking Jams series. “I thought that this location was really cool. A juxtaposition of nature’s beauty and urban-style graffiti art.”

The instrumental tune, he explains, “mixes traditional bluegrass elements with more modern rock structures.”

Congdon will perform at The Greenhouse Moto Café in Mills River on Saturday, April 29; at The Poe House in Hendersonville on Friday, May 12; and at Asheville Guitar Bar on Saturday, May 13, at 7 p.m. Find more show info here.
