Catfish po’ boys at Vieux Carre food truck: There’s just something great about fried catfish, iceberg lettuce and tomatoes drenched in mayonnaise on a hot summer day — and it’s even better with a cold beer. Catch Vieux Carre’s black and red truck on a Sunday night at the Brew Pump (except this week when the truck will be parked at Bonnaroo in Tennessee). It’s a surefire way to start to a night in West Asheville. — Jonathan Ammons
