Blog Log: The week in local blogging

Jeez. Is everybody having a tough week? From a sweep across blogtown, it sure seems like the “bad day” is prevailing.

Of course, that’s not really news for The Hangover Journals.

But the tone is a little grayer over at A Girl Named Boo after she got kicked out of her mom’s basement.

Then again, What the Hell has bad days aplenty, this time it’s some kind of allergy. And sometimes, like Jim posted on BlogAsheville, you’re gonna have a Bad Bear Day.

Reduce Footprints got poisoned by a shower curtain, Revenge of the Word Nerd isn’t even waiting for the food to come out, and someone named Fuzz over at Chasing the Bread Truck pinched a guy where guys don’t like to be pinched.

So Much for Tact is at the beach, so what could possibly go wrong there? And whatever is going on with Nice Marmot only warrants a few words.

Hey, at least we all have it better than the squirrel over at Recovering Iowan.

And leave it to My Life in Cake to show us the light at the end of the tunnel (the secret is baking cake, apparently).

It only takes a moment.

Xpress editors are determined to moderate comments to ensure a constructive interchange is maintained. All comments judged not to be in keeping with the spirit of civil discourse will be removed and repeat violators will be banned. See here for our terms of service.
