LIVE: Twitter coverage of today’s primary election

The North Carolina second primary election is today, July 17, giving Buncombe County residents a chance to cast their ballots for several races, including the hotly contested 11th District GOP runoff between Mark Meadows and Vance Patterson.  Learn more about the race here and the second primary here.

The polls close at 7:30 p.m. and the results will be reported here as soon as possible afterwards.
