Who you gonna call when they threaten your vote?

In the wake of a potentially illegal “robo” call reported in the state, Democracy North Carolina‘s executive director, Bob Hall, is asking citizens to report intimidating or potentially illegal campaign practices by using the organization’s toll-free hotline system, established in partnership with the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law, based in Washington, D.C.

In a news release today, Hall cited a campaign “robo” call being made to black neighborhoods in North Carolina and described the troubling call as allegedly from a “Lamont Williams,” who instructs call recipients on filling out a registration form supposedly being mailed to them. “Then you will be able to vote,” the caller says — although the deadline for mail-in registration in the state has already passed. According to DNC, the calls “seem to be going to black voters who are already registered.” Hall notes that under N.C. law, “it is a Class I felony for any person to misrepresent the law to the public through mass mailing or any other means of communication where the intent and the effect is to intimidate or discourage potential voters from exercising their lawful right to vote.” (Listen to a recording of the cited call here.)

Concerned about this and other pre-primary activity, DNC and its partner organizations are offering 24-hour, toll-free calling for complaints from voters:  888-OUR-VOTE or 866-OUR-VOTE. Complaints about irregularities may also be lodged with the N.C. Board of Elections hotline: (866) 522-4723.

I just heard about this on WFAE last night. I am curious, what do the Clinton supporters out there think about these kinds of tactics? Major Clinton Era players sit on the board of this nonprofit group, who has been accused of doing this in many other primary states. Their response?; “Oh, sorry, our mistake.”

You know, I was ready to vote for hillary a year ago, but she has proven to me repeatedly in the past 12 months that she is absolutely no different than the Bush clan and all they represent.

Between this, and Operation Chaos, I wonder if hillary has any actual support from Democrats, or if most of her support will come from Rush Limbaugh fans? Do people out there realize that hillary is trying to ‘win’ this election in the same way bush “won” the last two presedential elcetions? Quite pitiful, to say the least for the future of our Nation.
