Photos: Forest knocks on Asheville’s doors in campaign for lieutenant governor

In his bid to win the Republican nomination for lieutenant governor, Dan Forest brought his campaign to Asheville Monday, canvassing door-to-door with volunteers. Forest is pictured below knocking on doors in West Asheville after staging with his volunteers in his campaign bus parked in Wal-Mart parking lot.

A self-described “conservative Republican,” Forest carries an endorsement from Asheville Tea Party in his race against rival Tony Gurley in the July 17 run-off primary election.
