Photos:  Peace Walk mirrors London event

Reciprocating an event in London’s Trafalgar Square held by Zen master Thich Nhat Hanh, around seventeen people gathered in Asheville’s Pack Square today to meditate and “generate an energy of peace, solidarity and freedom.”  Wearing white, the crowd of all faiths mirrored Hanh’s non-political event by staging a “Peace Walk” through Pack Square Park.

    A beautiful afternoon. We received a number of thumbs-up from passersby. I particularly enjoyed circumambulating the Veterans’ Memorial. Stay tuned. We’re planning a monthly walk.
