Speak to the future: What are your hopes and concerns for the new year?

As we bid adieu to 2012, we’re seeking your thoughts on the year ahead. Specifically, those of us at Mountain Xpress are wondering:

• What are your hopes and dreams for 2013?

• What are your concerns and fears for the new year?

• Do you have any plans to learn a new skill or take up a new hobby?

• Are there any local stores, restaurants or businesses that you’ve never been to but are hoping to check out?

Please share your views in the comments field below. We may publish them in an upcoming issue.

My hope it that more people will learn about where their food comes from, and take steps to end the senseless violence inflicted upon animals raised for food. Towards that end, I recommend watching “What Came Before,” a new video from Farm Sanctuary, taking a look at sanctuary residents before their rescue.

This is a New Year’s wish for peace for all animals, human and non-human!
