Today, voters in the City of Asheville cast their ballots to decide which two candidates will continue onward in the journey to become Asheville’s next mayor. The polls opened at 6:30 a.m. today, Tuesday, Oct. 8, and will close at 7:30 p.m. To find out more about the candidates and where you can vote, click here.

The candidates for mayor include Vice Mayor and lawyer Esther Manheimer, former City Risk Management director and consultant John Miall and community activist and downtown waiter Martin Ramsey.
