VIDEO: Bill Stanley reflects on 24 years of service on the board of commissioners

After serving for 24 years on the Buncombe County Board of Commissioners, Vice Chair Bill Stanley is retiring this month. In this 26 minute video, he reflects on his time in county government. (The segment was produced by Buncombe County and was originally broadcast on Buncombe County Government TV. It’s embedded here via the county’s YouTube page.)

Stanley’s last meeting as a member of the board will be on Nov. 20, and a farewell party will follow later that evening.
