Work on Rankin Avenue today for LAB expansion

“Up, up, up … whoa!” came the voice from the roof. “More to the right, down, down … that’s it … down.”

About 120 feet of steel cable away, the operator moves levers and tries to anticipate the moves to drop a 50-foot steel girder in place — vertically — through the roof and down to the floor of the new tasting room for the LAB.

Expect lots more action on Rankin and Lexington Avenues as work continues.
