Xpress investigation makes radio waves

At 6 p.m. today (Friday, July 13), tune in to WCQS-88.1, Asheville’s National Public Radio affiliate, for News Director David Hurand‘s program Byline.

Appearing on the program will be Mountain Xpress environmental reporter Rebecca Bowe, who wrote this week’s cover story on the former CTS of Asheville plant and the contaminated ground water that has slipped through the regulatory cracks.

Other guests on the program include the Asheville Citizen-TimesJoel Burgess and Paul Johnson of the High Point Enterprise.

Byline airs every Friday from 6 to 6:30 p.m. If you miss an episode, you can listen online at the station’s archive of locally produced programs.
