Why is there a subsection of society that thinks everything should be free or at a cost that nobody makes a profit? You are not entitled to a house in downtown Asheville or West Asheville. If you don’t make enough money then live outside the city. There’s is an abundance of less expensive housing outside city limits.

I can’t go to New York and live in Manhattan. I can’t go to Miami and live on the beach. what makes you think you can come to Asheville and live downtown just because that’s where you want to live?
