“My thoughts exactly, when I was banned from the Scrutiny Hooligans website.”

It’s not like you are short of venues to beat your one-note drum from, however. This forum is probably read by a lot more people than Gordon’s website, and you pitch the same Ayn Rand fantasy on AC-T Topix, so why the complaint? The couple of times I visited your blog site, I didn’t see any ‘liberal’ commentary.

  2. Anonymous writes: “The couple of times I visited your blog site, I didn’t see any ‘liberal’ commentary.”

No, I have never allowed comments on my weblog. It is not intended as a place for conversation. Scrutiny Hooligans, however, is.

BTW, you sound rather hostile, snotty and angry. Are you?

  3. Piffy!

aaaaand tim “hostile, snotty and angry” peck’s alleged treatment at “Scrutiny Hooligans” website relates to the Mountain Xpress in what way?

Oh, and the comic-writer or headline writer got it wrong. ‘Round these parts we use pound (#) signs, hence, the phrase “pounding” as a replacement for curse words. As in, “this is pounding funny”.

BTW, is this in relation to something specific, mr comic artist? Is there a back-story?

  4. Piffy!

“website relates to the Mountain Xpress in what way?”

The way I say it does. Anything else bozo ####?

See, you got it. # signs.

Oh, brilliant, Mr. Anonymous, is that supposed to stand as some kind of f-u-c-k-ing-ass valid counter-argument?

Classy, buddy, classy. Counter-argument to what, now? I was just asking what you allegedly being censored at scrutiny hoolgians has to do with the Mountain Xpress, so i’m not sure what ‘counter-argument’ has to do with it.

But it is becoming even more ironic that you accuse Dionysis of being “hostile, snotty and angry” when you are the only one exhibiting any of those traits.

“BTW, you sound rather hostile, snotty and angry. Are you?”

First of all, I cannot imagine anything I care less about than how you think I “sound.” More to the point, none of those adjectives you used are accurate.

You, however, come across as an ill-tempered, self-absorbed person with severe tunnel-vision. You also have a well-noted tendency to make crap up and whine like a spoiled kid when you don’t get attention.

Pssst….are you ever going to relocate to that capitalist nirvana, Singapore? I’ll chip in on your air fare.

I wanna know, too Mr. Tooth & Jaw….

    What’s the backstory to this?

You’ve referenced censorship at least once before.

    You’re adoring fans demand answers!

  7. bobaloo

Ah, TimPeck sticks to his script as usual:

    1)Make some vague complaint.

    2)Accuse someone of being hostile

3)Make snide aside to anonymous posters

4)Become completely hostile, thus a hypocrite

    and forthcoming:

5)complain about the intelligence of comments (hypocrite squared)

    6)disappear.

Can’t you just skip to #6?

  8. Piffy!

yes, but you are all anonymous cowards.

where is mr tooth and jaw?!!! i demand answers!!

    God ###### mother ###### #### sucker midget ######!!!

    Folks,

Please don’t use the F-word here, in any of its permutations. Also, please don’t call each other names — even silly ones like bozo.

    Thank you,

    Jon Elliston, managing editor

Well Mr. Peck, where oh where can you be hiding? Could it be that he’s watching The Birth of Objectivism, Volumes 1 and 2 while pleasuring himself? Or did he just decide to take bobaloo’s advice and exit stage 6?

  11. Dionysis

“Please don’t use the F-word here, in any of its permutations. Also, please don’t call each other names — even silly ones like bozo.”

Well now, how is Mr. Peck supposed to express himself with half of his vocabulary off limits?

  12. Ken Hanke

Or did he just decide to take bobaloo’s advice and exit stage 6?

Just point out to him that it is in direct conflict to his core Randian beliefs to accept the free use of a website provided by liberal types.

  13. Spanker McJohnson

There is no “Randian” belief that would preclude the use of the website. That’s absurd.

That said, it sure seems like Mr. Peck went into the ditch a bit.

  14. Ken Hanke

There is no “Randian” belief that would preclude the use of the website. That’s absurd.

He’s certainly accepting something and giving nothing, which is in direct conflict to the nonsense put forth in her vision of Utopia in Atlas Shrugged.

That said, it sure seems like Mr. Peck went into the ditch a bit

He just moved over to a different thread.

  15. John B

Way do Rand freaks always tout Atlas Shrugged as some grand example of her philosophy? It was her worst book. And didn’t she go crazy while it was being written due some bizarre spouse swapping scheme with one of her followers? I liked a few of her thoughts on art and how it relates to individualism in the vastly superiorly written Fountainhead but come on. Atlas straight up sucked.

She never should have tried to make the leap to capitalism as the ideal. The individual associating with any collective corporate entity was contrary to what she was talking about. It was her downfall.

Rand reminds me of Mike Tyson. Could have gone down as one of the modern day greats of philosophy but self-destructed under the weight of her own unstable mind.
