“Untranny”? Hmmm…how can they be transgendered if they’re “untranny”? Oh well, 3 out of 4 is still pretty good, Brent. Maybe you should have gone with “Untranny Hex-men” and had a bus full of hyper-macho Brujos…

“Tranny” can also refer to “transvestite” as well as transexual, in a rule I just made up to make the rhyme with Uncanny work. Therefore, a transgendered individual who properly wants to be differentiated from confusion with the wholly different, but outwardly similar process of a cross-dresser could correctly employ the term. Hex-men would require a busload of math nerds fluent in a positional numeral system with a radix, or base, of 16, and would not work nearly as well.

Indeed it can, as the term Transgender itself is often used as an umbrella term for the entire TG community, including transsexuals, crossdressers and intersexuals(as well as specifically to describe those who live as opposite their birth gender without having surgery). However, most of those TS’s who don’t wish to be associated with crossdressers usually consider the term “tranny” to be very derogatory, which I’m sure was not your intent. “Uncanny” is a royal pain to parody, after all.

Nice use of Marvel parodies, by the way, and especially appropriate given that DC characters outnumbered the Marvel by a large margin at Fanaticon. Not sure about the number of math nerds in attendance, but I’d be willing to bet there were more than a few. Hope you enjoyed the convention!

First time a MX cartoon has actually made me laugh this year. Not saying that they’re usually bad…but this was great.
