Letter: Ask Burr and Tillis what they’ll do about Trump

Graphic by Lori Deaton

Have the last 3 1/2 years of Donald Trump’s behavior made us so numb that we are willing to allow him to continue with his abuse of power? He has openly admitted that he will hold up the postal funding to impede the ballot collection in November. Actions such as this can lead a country to turn into a dictatorship. When a person like Donald Trump stays in power, it is even more difficult to unseat him or her.

Please contact U.S. Sens. Richard Burr and Thom Tillis and ask what is going to be done about this abuse of power. I wonder if Thom Tillis and Richard Burr would like to go down in history as the senators who let our country to lose its valued form of government.

Nothing. The answer is “nothing.” You already know the answer. Ask yourself what you’re going to do about them.

Unfortunately, this is correct. Burr has already decided that he is not seeking re-election,
based on his Intelligence Committee report that found interaction between the Trump
      campaign and Russian agents.

Tillis is a Tea Partier at heart. His record as an NC Speaker of the House should tell you
all you need to know about where his loyalties lie. He may be carefully distancing himself
during this election, but he’ll go back to licking Trump’s boots if Trump is returned.

Diane, bless you dear, you’re about 160 years late. The Constitutional Republic has been dead and stinking for a loooooooong time.

You just got to recognize we’re all living at the decline and collapse stage of the American Empire.

Sit back, relax, make some popcorn, crack open that nice single malt you’ve been saving, and enjoy the ride down. There is no saving this thing. What you see on the cardiac monitor is simply PEA, pulseless electric activity. The patient is long gone.

wonder if Diane is registered to vote ? has she ever voted ?
