Letter: Boycott businesses that don’t comply with mask law

Graphic by Lori Deaton

As I drove around Asheville [June 29], I went into businesses to get lunch, gas, auto parts, etc. I saw few people wearing masks and no business enforcing the mask law.

I would like to call on all people who care about their neighbors and larger community to boycott businesses that refuse to comply with the law. They are putting all of us at risk and endangering the lives of the elderly and immune-compromised people in our area.

Such a callous disregard for cancer patients, people who have had organ transplants, elderly folks should not be rewarded with our hard-earned dollars. Please join with me and vote with your dollar against this kind of disregard for the health of our community.

I agree with you, but get ready for the derp.

Meanwhile, ̶A̶m̶e̶r̶i̶c̶a̶’̶s̶ ̶w̶a̶n̶g̶ , I mean Florida, is leading the charge down the derp hole.

Florida Emergency Operations Center closed till Monday after 12 workers contract coronavirus

Yeah, Florida under GOP management, couldn’t reopen and pretend the virus was nothing to worry about fast enough. Now their COVID cases are skyrocketing, and even the Emergency Operations Center, the people who are supposed to be monitoring and managing the pandemic , is closed because of all the infections.

But by all means, Covidiots, pretend that the Constitution gives you the right to spread a deadly disease if you want.

Funny you mention auto parts stores – I recently went into one to get stuff for an oil change & had to interact with an employee w/no mask who was very annoyed I was masked (AdvanceAuto on Fairview). Same thing happened when I took my car to get inspected (Mr. Tire on Tunnel). Guess gearheads are exempt..

The dread virus Covid (which you have to be tested for after the fact to even know if you even had it lol!) is simply a cover for the oncoming economic collapse that began in the fall of 2019. It is being leveraged as a scapegoat to explain the destruction of the USD to the proles, to sow chaos and consolidate even more power.

The implementation of the mask protocol is to shape the behavior of the proles so they accept the next step – mandated vaccines, which will be another massive revenue source for big Pharma. Refuse? Sorry, you cannot enter a Federal Building, WalMart, or fly anywhere. And you’ll likely be disemployed.

To get an animal to exhibit goal behavior you often have to break the goal training into smaller steps, and train it on each step in sequence to get to the desired behavior – and this is one of the points of the masks.

Next comes the Great Reset Forum of 2021…

“Geneva, Switzerland, 3 June 2020 The Great Reset will be the theme of a unique twin summit to be convened by the World Economic Forum in January 2021. The 51st World Economic Forum Annual Meeting will bring together global leaders from government, business and civil society, and stakeholders from around the world in a unique configuration that includes both in-person and virtual dialogues.”

We only have one planet and we know that climate change could be the next global disaster with even more dramatic consequences for humankind. We have to decarbonize the economy in the short window still remaining and bring our thinking and behaviour once more into harmony with nature, said Klaus Schwab, Founder and Executive Chairman of the World Economic Forum.”

Climate/Carbon taxes, enforced Social Justice, reparations, vaccine passports, global reset (that will leave all the current elites in power, naturally) and the loss of the USD as reserve currency (with a consequent devaluation of 50-70%) are all on deck for 2021. Neofeudalism, it’s what’s for dinner and it doesn’t matter who is “elected/selected” Presidents are puppets/actors…the election is simply a distraction for the proles and knowing entertainment for the elites.

You are FAR closer to right than wrong in your entire thesis. However, most won’t recognize what you’re saying and many will outright reject it.

It will have to appear on CNN/MSNBC/the networks for them to believe those possibilities. But, it will never be described in any of those outlets. That’s where we are.

There are many other aspects to this that don’t appear related but, they are. The sudden, supposed nationwide shortage of coins (laughable) is another step towards forced global electronic money in lieu of paper. Like you said, it’s done step-by-step to train the sheeple. I have little doubt that bank deposit bail-ins are on deck too.

The George Floyd scenario plays into this somehow, as well. It was not random, was ever so conveniently filmed and in a state with an Antifa member Atty General. A HIGHLY organized series of nationwide protests launched instantly thereafter. Replete with pallets of bricks and other weapons delivered to large metro downtowns along with young soldiers already outfitted in their all-black uniforms and with convenient masks making them unidentifiable on video. Many of them were a paid and trained army of Antifa instigators. And, of course, the media was entirely compliant with the established narrative (GUILTY until proven innocent. Naaww, we don’t even need a trial, just a few minutes of video and some second-hand claims will suffice. Cop is guilty; throw him away.)

While much can be written about the unbelievable amount of fraud in the Covid-19 death and case counts (ongoing). There is lots of info online about it, from all over the country. More people should wake-up and look. It would be laughable if it wasn’t so utterly vile.

Many more dark layers of this agenda await us over the next couple of years, minimum. Buckle up…

So I used to be a huge conspiracy theory guy back in the late 70’s. It’s really interesting that after 40 years and a heck of a lot of global change, some of the same themes still ring true in people’s hearts. Now I don’t see the ‘Jesus was an ambassador from the galactic federation & the fleet’s on its way’ or mind-control broadcast-type stuff too much anymore, but the other Illuminati-style global world domination cabal thingys live on. Some deep seed there in the human psyche, I guess. Fascinating.

So you still believe that Lee Harvey Oswald shot JFK with his putzy gun?
And that WMDs were in Iraq?
And that Trump and Putin are rigging the voting booths?
That Dianne Feinstein did not have a Chinese spy for a driver for 20 years?
That countless Congress critters are actually highly astute investors who turned their approx 180K incomes p/ year into millions in net worth in a decade or less?
        Shall I go on?

        • Lou

I do believe Trump and Putin rigged the election for sure. That is the ONLY way that lump of nothing could have gotten in. There are NOT that many idiots in this country…lots, but not that many.

Pure silliness, you’ll have to do better if you want to actually dispute something. Roundabouts are awesome and highly functional. Only downside is they take up alot of real estate which can be an issue in very high-priced geographies.

Turning right on red is also very rational. So is turning left at red lights onto one-way streets. Indeed, you have nothing to offer here except childishness.

Why am I responsible for another person’s health? Cancer patients, the elderly, et.al. STAY HOME. We are individually responsible for our own health; how narcissistic to expect the world to stop to revolve around me? And yes, I’m one of those at-risk people you described.

Studies show little to no difference in contracting a virus through small particle aerosol inhalation between wearing a cloth face covering or not wearing anything. Proper fitment is another issue compromising their usefulness, facial hair, even worse. I see people wearing them not covering their nose, or pulling it down to talk, making them completely pointless. I don’t wear one, feel good “solutions” don’t interest me. If I am “required” to have one to enter, I go elsewhere.

Conspiracy theories aside, we are seeing a pandemic unlike anything we have seen in the past 100 years. Sadly the worse the situation, the more wing nuts that come out of the woodwork claiming some obscure reference to back up their point of view. Personally I do not like wearing a mask but if it will help prevent the spread of the Covid-19, then that is a small price to pay. “Studies have shown” goes into the same category as “many people say” or “I have a gut feeling” or ” it will magically disappear .” It is past time for there to be legal repercussions for those that choose to not wear a mask where required. Like another writer said, if he is required to wear a mask, then he goes to a store where one isn’t required. Several times I have observed masks not being worn by customers, most recently at the Lowe’s on Airport Road. Even though they had an employee at a table handing out masks upon entering the store. What I find quite humorous is when I get within about 10 feet of someone not wearing a mask and start “coughing” they vacate the area quickly. And even though we aren’t responsible for another persons health, we are responsible for the safety of those around us. Probably why there are speed limit laws, probably why we can’t discharge a firearm into a crowd. probably why we aren’t allowed to drive on the wrong side of the road. You would think that with all that is going on in the world that having to wear a mask when around other people wouldn’t be such an issue that it causes some to write a manifesto about the topic. If I happen to be at a store that requires masks and I observe someone blatantly ignoring the rule, I apologize in advance if I accidentally cough / sneeze in your direction. Sometimes it happens so quickly I’m not able to cover my mouth.
